Karolina Hejnova

She studied film and television production at FAMU in Prague (2011). She is a founding member of the group ME-SA, which regularly presents its projects at festivals such as Aerowaves Spring Forward, TANEC PRAHA, and the Czech Dance Platform. For six years, she has been involved in the program, educational activities, and vision of Studio ALTA, and for four years, she has been leading the production for the company VerTeDance. She works as a freelance producer and dancer, being behind over a hundred performances each year, more than half of which she performs in herself. She initiates a variety of dance projects and actively promotes contemporary dance.

She studied at the J. L. Bella Conservatory in Banská Bystrica and the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague, specializing in Dance Pedagogy. During her studies, she collaborated with many Czech and Slovak choreographers (Marta Poláková, Mirka Eliášová, Šárka Ondrišová, the Debris group) as well as international creators (Ji-Eun Lee, Karen Foss, Ann van den Broek, Maya M. Carroll). Since 2010, she has been working as a freelance dancer and educator. She combines her work and creative endeavors in her home city of Prague with collaborations in foreign companies. Currently, her main focus in Prague is with her home group ME-SA, which she co-founded with dancer and producer Karolína Hejnová in 2008, as well as the company VerTeDance. In Switzerland, she works with the company DA MOTUS!, and in Norway with choreographer Karen Foss. In 2011 and 2012, she was nominated for Dance Artist of the Year; her original solo was nominated for the Dance Performance of the Year award in 2012. In 2015, she received the Dance Artist of the Year award for her performance in SuperNaturals. For her performance in the solo piece L – One of the Seven, Martina Hajdyla Lacová was nominated for the Thalia Award in 2016.

Jiri Hajdyla / PR manager, producer

He studied acting in alternative and puppet theater at DAMU. He worked for several years at the Husa na provázku theater and then at the Lampión theater in Kladno. During his acting career, he also focused on directing and lighting design. Since 2019, directing has become his main activity. He also teaches at the Acting Conservatory in Prague. He is interested in coaching and personal development.
